If you’re a first timer here in Saigon or a second/third timer already but you’re still wondering if there’s anything else to explore and immerse here in Saigon, I’ve got you covered! As a Saigonese myself, here are the 5 things that I’d love to jot down for your consideration.

  1. Having Vietnamese Coffee in the morning:

This is literally the best, and it’s favorite time of the day as well. Vietnam is famous for their original black coffee and iced milk coffee, just a tiny bit of caffeine to start off your day and you’re good to go! This is also a big wake up call for those who are sleep deprived due to their long hours in the office, so go ahead and enjoy a cup of iced black coffee to kick off your adventurous day ahead.

2. Street food try outs and about:

You cannot neglect street food when you’re in Vietnam, specially in Saigon. Saigon is a street food paradise, you can easily find tiny street food stalls and corners around Ben Thanh Market since it’s located in Dist 1, therefore it offers a wide selection of food. For street snacks and sweets, Nguyễn Huệ does have a lot of them.

A fun night out is nothing without a karaoke sesh with your peeps. In Saigon, Nnice Karaoke is the biggest and they have a great number of branches at reasonable prices. But if you dare to go a bit farther, Ibox Karaoke in Dist 7 offers a huge selection of songs with latest updates so you and your folks can sing all night long.
