Corse – A Fairy Of France

An amazing beauty of Corse is a harmony of modern life and wild nature. Driving in along the coast in island is an adventurous interest that brings to tourists a strong feeling when one side is a vast ocean and the other side is high mountains. But it’s not dangerous because very few vehicles run on the road. Sometimes, stopping in small restaurants on the road is an excited experience. These small restaurants have a great view to beautiful landscape where people can enjoy the meals and relax in very peaceful atmosphere, they also serve very traditional  specialities of Corse with greasy cheese sauce and pepper that actuates guests’taste.

House of Napoléon is the most famous atourist site here when most of people are curious about the life of the grandest emperor not only of France but of the world. He was born in 1769 in Ajaccio, the capital of Corse. His house now becomes an museum about his life. Ajaccio is also attractive by ancient stoned roads that leads to the beach and a lot of local souvenir shops with vintage style, tourists will feel like walking in the mediaval era. Don’t forget to pass by the Notre – Dame and take some memory photos.

But, the most beautiful city have to be  Bonifacio. An ancient majestic castle stand gloriously in the peak of mountain which observes to the most largest bay in France. Hundreds of luxury yatchs anchoring in the habour create an impressive view. Aroung the castle, there are a lot of luxury hotels and resorts for tourists.

Another city for those who are keen on adventure tourism is Porto Calanche, Parto bay is considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO and is also a favorite place for European to enjoy adventure sports like : trekking or scuba diving. Visiting Porto is nothing without a trip to mountain ranges along the sea with many limestones that bring themselves a lava’s red. The beach doesn’t have white sand like others in Asia but is covered by millions of colorful chesils that makes it one of the moost unique beaches in the world.

The gastronomy here is so abbundant, despite a coastal, it is not only famous for seafood but also some specialities from mountain area, specially smoked meat, many type of cheeses made from goat milk are also scored very high. And also the attraction of type of jams which bring the authentic taste of Mediterranean region.
